Not only is The Meadows one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, but my first wedding there was an unforgettable “Nightmare Before Christmas”–inspired celebration. Subtle nods to Jack and Sally were woven throughout the décor, giving the whole day a perfectly moody, whimsical feel.


Kim, the bride, wore a stunning black lace dress with a matching veil, their guestbook was a literal Ouija board, and they even had a tattoo artist on site all night for guests to get inked. The evening ended with Kim getting three new tattoos of her own, which was easily one of the coolest wedding send-offs I’ve ever had the honour of capturing.
