Brockville Family Photography Session


Family photography sessions at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville are always beautiful—but this one was extra special! I had the absolute joy of photographing Tasha, Nate, and their five energetic kids on a sunny day surrounded by forest trails and peaceful lakeside views.


With five little ones full of personality (and energy!), this session was delightfully chaotic in the best way possible. One of the things I love most about photographing families is embracing those real, candid moments—the giggles, the running, the sibling jokes. It's all part of the magic.


As any parent knows, getting kids to cooperate for family photos can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why I always come prepared with tricks up my sleeve! Turning poses into little games or challenges keeps things fun and natural—plus it helps bring out those genuine smiles that make the best memories.


Of course, sometimes kids might forget they’ve got an AirPod in, or sneak a toy or snack into a photo. But don’t worry—if something makes it into a shot that shouldn’t be there, I’ve got it covered. I’m well-versed in both Lightroom and Photoshop, so I can easily edit out any distractions and keep the focus right where it should be—on your beautiful family.
