Mac Johnson Wildlife Area: Moriah & Mitchell’s Winter Session
At Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville, Moriah and Mitchell’s session was one for the books! We had a wonderful two-part session that started indoors, in the warmth of their home, and ended with a fun, playful outdoor adventure in the snow. The overcast winter day provided the perfect soft, dreamy light for their outdoor shots, but it was their connection that truly made the session so special.
Inside, we focused on their shared passion for vinyl records, incorporating them into the shoot as a personal touch. You could tell how much they both enjoy collecting records, and it made the session feel even more intimate and meaningful. The photos of them surrounded by their collection were relaxed, cozy, and full of personality.
When we headed outside, the winter chill didn’t stop Moriah and Mitchell from having a blast! They were incredibly playful, running through the snow and laughing the entire time. The joy between them was infectious, and I loved capturing those candid, fun moments. At one point, Mitchell spontaneously threw Moriah over his shoulder and started walking off with her, making for some unforgettable photos that perfectly captured their lighthearted dynamic.
Moriah also showed off her new engagement ring, and the moment was so beautiful—her excitement and love for Mitchell shone through, making it an extra special part of the day.
From cozy moments indoors to snowy adventures outside, this session was a perfect balance of warmth, love, and pure fun. It was clear that Moriah and Mitchell have such a strong bond, and I’m so grateful I could be there to capture these special memories for them.
